Yogen collects as little data as possible. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal information. Your wallet lives in your browser, not on our servers. We log IP addresses for rate limiting and that's about it.
Here's what we actually collect and why:
We don't collect or store:
When you connect to Yogen, an embedded wallet is created and stored in your browser's localStorage. Your private key never leaves your device and never touches our servers.
This means you're in full control of your wallet, but it also means we can't recover it if you clear your browser data or lose your device. There's no "forgot password" flow because we don't have your password to begin with.
Yogen uses minimal cookies. Here's the full list:
That's it. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking services.
Yogen runs on Canton Network. When you place trades, those transactions are recorded on the blockchain. Blockchain records are public and permanent by design, we can't delete or modify them after the fact.
Your on-chain activity (trades, positions, settlements) is associated with your wallet address. While this address doesn't directly identify you, be aware that blockchain data is publicly accessible.
We don't sell, share, or give your data to third parties for advertising or marketing. The only external services we use are:
We keep data only as long as it's needed:
Since we don't collect personal data, most data protection regulations don't apply in the traditional sense. But if you want to:
We can't delete blockchain records because nobody can. That's a feature of the technology, not a limitation of our policy.
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll post a notice on the platform. Continued use of Yogen after updates means you accept the revised policy.
